Kandace Medina is an Austin-based stand-up comedian, best described by her dad as “funny... if I pretend she’s not my daughter.” She is the creator and host of Banana Phone, a chaotic, wildly successful roast show— featured on NPR, LA Times, and Austin Monthly— that finds the line when hecklers ring in. This cleverly risqué, ironically intelligent, unwell rude broad performs all over the country, has been seen on Moontower, SXSW and Skankfest, and can be heard getting in the last word on her podcast, Gargyrls.
